Anastasia Allison: Kula Cloth More Than Just a Piece of Gear, a Community!

She was sidetracked during college by heading down the path to go to medical school because everyone in her school was going to medical school. After realizing this might not be the path she wanted....listen to hear what Anastasia did next. We chat about Kula's origin and how taking photos of her original "pee cloth" in epic wilderness settings inspired her to make the the cloth "cooler" and an actual piece of gear. No where in her imagination did she expect to create a movement.Kula Cloth is more than an outdoor product. It is a community, a community that dances together five days a week at 6:30am. The Kula Cloth® gets its name from Kula Khangri - the tallest mountain in Bhutan. Anastasia completed a trek in Bhutan in 2011, and it was a life-changing experience for her. Including the name of a peak symbolizes the process of accomplishing anything in life - mountains are climbed one step at a time.
