Realizing that they were bored and wanted to do something else. After a visit to California they wanted a project. Soon they knew they wanted to open a winery. How is that for not knowing much about wine only 3 years earlier!Kim appears to have boundless energy and after the winery, they have opened a restaurant, distillery, and now a Mermaid Museum.The International Mermaid Museum focus is teaching ocean ecology from the ocean floor to the beach. Blending Mermaid mythology with ecology the museum is an amazing experience. The story of how the museum came into existence is amazing.
