He just had to know what that car was!  Turns out the Pursuit Interceptor is a 1973 Ford XB Falcon GT.  Years later Dee was able to purchase a Falcon XA which he had converted into a Red XA Bat replica. After purchasing the XB Dee kept hanging around the shop. Later Dee became a partner in the company.Mad Max Cars started out by importing Australian muscle cars into the US. Eventually the company began to create movie cars.
